The effects of exercise on sleep

  3. Exercise can help you fall asleep faster with fewer disturbances. Working out allows your brain to release endorphins, those feel-good hormones that reduce stress and anxiety, making it easier to relax and fall asleep at night. These hormones also reduce stress which can cut out any tossing and turning throughout the night, allowing you to get the deep sleep your body needs. 
  4. Exercise promotes healthy spinal alignment during sleep. Working out makes our muscles stronger and better equipped to maintain proper posture during the day and while we sleep. Therefore, exercising regularly promotes proper spine alignment which in turn helps create healthy mattress body impressions, the key to waking up refreshed and pain-free.
