If you sleep with a significant other (or if you have children), you’re likely very aware of the importance of space. Have you ever switched sleeping positions, only to find out you barely have room to move? Have you ever been sleeping peacefully and someone’s arm ended up on your face?
When choosing a mattress, there are many things you have to keep in mind: The available square footage, your height, your sleeping companion’s height, whether you like to snuggle with your spouse or would prefer to spread out, whether you have any kids or pets who somehow always end up sleeping with you, and your budget.
The first thing you need to do is measure your bedroom to make sure you don’t end up with a gigantic bed with no spare room to walk around it. If you live in an apartment, also measure door frames and the stairs to get up to it.
Once you know how much space you have for a new bed, come talk to our mattress experts. We’ll ask all of the right questions to ensure you get the best possible fit, specifically for you if you sleep on your own, or for both you and your significant other if you share a bed with someone (we do have beds that have different feels on each side).
